Stepping into Spring with Style!

Hello guys, so this is the first ever post on my new website! I find that exciting so I really hope you enjoy it!

Today I am going to share a few outfits with you that I personally love and I think are perfect for Springtime!

This is a Spring time Collab hosted by a blogger called Guilianna, ( http://guiliannamarie.blogspot.com) a few other bloggers are also taking part in this! So definitely go over to her blog and read the other posts that are part of this collab!

Outfit number 1/ An elegant, embroidered shirt dress

Shirt Dress- Primark

This has to be my favourite outfit from this whole Look-Book, I picked up this beautiful shirt dress in Primark for £12 (a bargain) and I simply paired it with a pleated brown belt. I think this is a unique yet elegant look that is perfect and easy to wear in Spring.

I didn’t wear any makeup for this Look Book as later on in the day Chad and I filmed a ‘Boyfriend does my makeup!’ which will be on my youtube channel soon.

I love the detailing of the floral embroidery on this dress, I think it contrasts the plain, simple design and colour of the dress.

I wore my hair up for this look as I think that it gave a more elegant and put together look.

This dress is so comfortable and an easy ‘throw on’ outfit yet it still has a dressy look to it, like you’ve actually made an effort! I love how it can be worn with or without tights as it’s a great transition piece to wear from Spring to Summer.

I bought this in Primark a few months ago so I am unsure whether it is still in stock but Im sure there are similar embroidered shirt dresses and any small belt will do!

Outfit number 2/ Mom jeans & a shoulderless top

Mom Jeans- Topshop

Top- Primark

This outfit is definitely more casual and for a chilled kind of day, I love it because I think the bagginess of the Mom jeans and the tightness of the top go perfectly together.

My pair of Mom jeans always come back out in Spring/Summer as I think they have a much more chilled vibe to them and they go perfectly together with a dainty Pink top!

I added a dainty little Daisy necklace with this outfit, I think this is so cute- I picked this up from River Island last year.

I could easily live in this outfit as I find it so comfortable! It is completely casual yet still has a girly touch to it! The pleated brown belt breaks up the soft colours and finishes the outfit off perfectly.

I actually think the ‘no makeup & hair down’ suits this outfit and is perfect for a relaxed weekend.

Outfit number 3/ Skinny Jeans & a white Detailed Top

Skinny jeans- Topshop

Top- Laura Ashley

This third outfit is a perfect in between outfit, it is still casual and comfy but the top definitely gives it a dressier look, so you could wear this around the house but also to a family lunch!

I don’t know why my hair looks Ginger? But we’ll blame it on the lighting and go with it…

I love the textured detailing on the upper arms, it instantly turns a ‘boring white top’ into a pretty spring time top!

Adding a belt round the waistline of this top gives it a more flattering and elegant look!

I really like the tassels on this top, again it just makes it more of a unique to and I think they’re a lovely touch.

I have been loving the cute, elegant Spring time bits from Laura Ashley recently. After picking up this lovely top in the sale I am hooked!

Outfit number 4/ Pink Stripes & a Mint Green blazer

Top- laura Ashley

Blazer- New Look (a few years ago)

This is the final outfit that I have to show you in this Look Book! It is kind of something I just threw together, but I loved it! This gorgeous baby pink and soft mint green are my two favourite colours. I love to wear them together in Spring Time for a completely girly look.

I wore this top and blazer with a gold old pair of Topshop Jeans (I flipping love these jeans) as I think this makes the outfit smarter and slightly more formal, as far as jeans and a top go!

This little blazer has been part of my wardrobe for years and I have recently rediscovered it! I think it’s great as it is great for throwing on in the warmer weather when you still want a jacket.

This outfit definitely has both the comfort and the fashion factor, I can wear this and be so comfortable all day- thanks to the soft materials of the clothing, however I think the stripes and blazer look great.

These colours compliment my pale skin tone perfectly and I will definitely be wearing them more together!

That’s the end of my Spring time Look-Book! I love all 4 of these outfits and I hope you love them too!

Be sure to leave a nice comment and let me know what you think!

I will be back soon with another post!

I have also just uploaded a new vlog on my youtube channel so check that out HERE

I love the last outfit with the blazer! I never know how to incorporate a blazer in an outfit that isn’t business professional so that’s great inspiration!
